I Love Tuesdays

Tuesday has become my second favorite day of the week (Friday is the fave).  I have no clients on Tuesdays.  Don't get me wrong -- I love my work, but it's nice to have a day of no "have-to's".  The only thing I have on my agenda today is to hopefully iSight with the New Yorkers tonight.

I got up at 5-something and promptly took a nap a couple of hours later.  Deep, deep sleep.  Apparently I needed it.  Now I'm readin' blogs, checkin' facebook updates, answering e-mail, balancing checkbooks... doin' that "connecting with the world" kind of stuff.

Outside it's bright and sunny, snow on the rooftops, blue sky up above.  The dog is napping in the sun, and the cats are sleeping with one eye open watching the dog.

Kory is down the hill getting his poor snowplow fixed (we hope).  He was so excited when it snowed this weekend!  He was plowin' out the driveways of anybody he could think of.  It was a crackup.  Then the plow broke (reverse went out) in the middle of North Bay Road.  Luckily, he says everyone pulls over and backs off for him whenever he turns his yellow flashing light on (up on top of the truck).  I felt so bad for him.  It was like somebody broke his Lincoln Logs or something.  Anyway, it was pretty cool yesterday morning when he took me to see my clients in that giant snowplow!  He just snowplowed us right up to the front!  (I'll bet it really is a lot of fun. In truth, I'm probably a bit jealous!)

Anyway, it's another beautiful day here.

  1. I love Tuesdays, too - Date NIght! Except we missed it tonight. :-(
Carolyn and Brian are out of town for the week.

Oh, the poor snowplow. And my poor dad. Hope it gets fixed asap. At least he knows he can count on it about as much as the ones he used to buy when you lived in Utah. Rustbucket has so many applications.
