Wow. What a morning. Met with a new client, and she's a good match for me, therapeutically--meaning, essentially, that I can help her. While I was getting ready for that, I got a referral from a local doctor. That turned out to be a regular, 7-sessions a week (minimum) for a local treatment center [aka sober living home] that is about half a mile away. I am now their staff clinician, and I met the guys that live there this afternoon. I'll actually see two guys for individual sessions twice a week and then run a group that meets three times a week (hence seven sessions)--all at their facility, which is about half a mile from our home. One of the things I like about this work is it will keep me immersed in recovery.
Kory will be waking up soon from his nap. I tried to sleep, but I just couldn't! I am seriously just too excited about all there is to do.
It's wonderful to feel this way, so I thought I'd share it. :)
Oh, I have the BEST life with the BEST wife. I am very grateful for a grateful woman. That is just a small part of her greatness.
